#dihworkshop at The Home Depot

I looooove Home Depot. So how did I not know about these Do-It-Herself workshops?! No idea how that one slipped, but never fear I am here to make sure you don’t go any longer without them!

I went with my lovely friend Natalie. Between us, we have lots of building experience. If you do not, don’t even worry! There are employees there to help you every step of the way. We attended the class located on 9570 S in Highland Drive. Go HERE to find your local Hope Depot and see what they’re up to.

This months project was a kids chore chart. So darling and easy.

First step, secure the boards to one another. Sorry, no picture.

Second, stain the front.

Third, tape off and paint.

Fourth, attach jars and clothes pins.

I took mine home like this, and just wrote on it when I got home.

Voila! Isn’t she cute! And so functional!

We have a problem with weekly chores, so there are up where all can see now. Also paired with a list of chores they can do for money. The jars hold allowance. My kids are frequently loosing their money so having it all in one place will be great.

Thank you Home Depot!!! Check out what is going on near you, grab a friend and GO! Such a fun night out!

How fun! My kids love the projects. Though it seems like they end up with a small collection of odd items that we have to toss out in our regular deep cleaning.

I am one of those people who love the home depot but is not aware of this workshops for women. My sister would love to know about this. She loves tinkering with stuff. Thank you for sharing this.
