Visiting Teaching Handout Idea for Relief Society conference or interviews
We recently hosted a visiting teaching drive-thru, instead of the typical interviews. We set up three coned off lanes in the parking lot. The ladies would come through a lane, stay in their car, get a sugar cookie and a drink from us, and we’d sit at their window and chat about how their visiting teaching was going. Everyone loved it. I had my neighbor Cindy, who runs the adorable scripture fun journaling instagram page and blog, make our handout!
Supplies:
- Black Washi tape
- Clothespins
- Magnets
- Glue gun & glue
- Laminated Visiting Teaching thought card.
Instructions
- First take the clothespin and affix a small amount of washi tape to the exposed portion of the clip.
- Turn clothespin over and glue a magnet to the back
- Glue the laminated cards to the front!
You can give these to the ladies with a print out of their assignment, as well as print the message each month. When it’s hanging on their fridge, it can serve as a reminder to visit their ladies.
Keep them together when new assignments are made, or hand them out at your next LDS visiting teaching conference!
Don’t forget to print the file here.
The purpose of ministering is to help others become true followers of Jesus Christ.
Visiting teaching can do this!
