We’re Adding An “S”!
The Organized Mom is becoming the Organized MomS!! We are also discussing the importance of establishing good business relationships today! While searching around for my google ranking I stumbled upon a great website www.organizeitmom.com. While I was looking through her website I noticed that she didn’t live too far away from me! So I emailed her and we setup a meeting and talked on the phone. Immediately we realized how alike we were and how much fun we were going to have with this new found friendship! I was already starting a project to create “routine cards” but was still trying to work out how to produce the product. When I checked out her site I noticed that she had already created them! Like I said we are alike! So luckily our products are very complimentary. Hers are mostly geared towards the kids, empowering and teaching them how to get organized. She does have some products for the parents too, and one that is almost like mine (a grocery list), which is actually good for the paper people (I still have a hard time understanding the people who like paper… sorry!) I’m always having to refer out. We recently did the Baby Day Expo together, and one person actually bought both MY software and her grocery list… so they must not be too similar! So what is this all boiling down to? Laurieann of Organizeitmom is going to be a regular contributor to the Organized Mom Blog! This is first going to give me a much needed break on some days, and give all of you wonderful people some other perspectives on how to get organized! Be sure to check out her website and her wonderful products! Her first post will be on Monday, so be sure to check back.
How else does my new found friendship help the wonderful readers of this blog? Relationships, especially business relationships are extremely important to find and cultivate. A good way to find people that are like minded is an old fashioned google search! I found Laurieann by searching for “organize mom”. I’m #1 for Organized Mom, but she is #1 for organize mom, and we live so close! This is also, obviously, a good way to keep track of your competition! When you do find people with products, ideals and values similar to yours, yet different enough so you aren’t competing then send them an email and find out how you can either benefit from a relationship or even just a new friend. I’m excited for my readers to meet my new organized friend! Make sure you leave a comment and welcome her to our little family!

I can’t wait to browse through your blog and Laurieann’s website too. I just discovered you and I love learning new ways to be more organized and more effective with my limited time. Thanks. Kathy
Thanks Kathy! I’ve been meaning to put some links to my favorite past posts, maybe I’ll do that the next couple of days, since Laurieann is going to be taking over for me for a couple days this week!
