A new year is here and that means it is time for some new bullet journal spreads, or even a whole new bullet journal notebook! Personally, I just use my notebooks until the pages are gone, but some prefer to have a dedicated notebook for each year. Whatever the case, it is time to get planning for January!

You can see there’s a lot of chocolate in January, and so many fun things to celebrate!
Now, when it comes to the beginning of the year there are a few things you may want to do with your bujos. Here are lots of ideas to focus on:

- A new yearly spread
There are just so many ways to lay out your bujo, which is part of the reason I love bullet journaling so much! Think of something as simple as a calendar, there are so many different calendar layouts and calendar spreads you can create!
January Bullet Journal Color Schemes
When it comes to a bullet journal color scheme, of course there is no right or wrong answer. To me January screams cozy winter themes – lots of light colors with a focus on blues and very light pinks, and winter doodles too!
Of course, this is not the only way to bullet journal! Vibrant colors, bright colors, and fun colors all of course always have a place in your bujo.
